5 out of 5 stars Avoid College Debt With This Book   March 16, 2010

As a single parent navigating the admissions process for my daughter - a first generation college student- this book has been my lifesaver. I am able to get an idea of the true cost of the colleges and universities of her choice. The chart in the beginning of the book is very helpful in helping me find award money based on her college preferences and also provides information about tuition payment plans. This book was also helpful in explaining the entire financial aid process, especially the information provided about the FASFA.
